Rinda Food Industries Sdn Bhd has come a long way since it humble beginning in 1982. Back then, it was known as Rinda Perusahaan Makanan (M) Sdn Bhd with its specialty in manufacturing chocolate wafers.
Today, Rinda has expanded its product range to include candies, jellies, cookies and ice-tubes which are distributed locally and globally in over 20 countries around the world. About 50% of our total sales are from domestic market and the balance 50% are from export earnings. Our candies are certified Halal and are imported by countries requiring the Halal qualification and standard.
Our factory now sits on a land size of 300, 000 sq feet with over 250 employees serving in production, research, sales, administration, logistics and management. The entire production process is fully automated right from cooking, boiling and cooling to wrapping and packing.
In Malaysia, Rinda's fine choices of candy are distributed by over 110 appointed wholesalers and sold through 300 hypermarkets, supermarkets and departmental stores.
Rinda is now a highly successful global player and we export to neighboring Asean countries like Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Far East (China, Japan and Korea) , Australia and New Zealand, South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. And we continue to explore and lookout for new markets.
